Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani's birthplace in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae Singers. He was in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was With Father Like Son. He has also released a number of singles, like Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) as well as the Who the Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. Each of them helped contribute to his growing popularity with the younger generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani as well as Praswell who are members of the Fugees were joined in 1997 to record Avenue the cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed for the first time at Midem, an international music showcase which was held in Miami.
